Welcome to The Vitamins. Starting out in Kilburn Rebecca (vocals), inspired by a mix of punk meets ‘60’s blues artists such as Etta James and Irma Thomas, began writing in her home studio with Daniel (drums) producing the demos. Then began rehearsals with Louis (guitar) and Keith (bass) which gave them the impetus to play gigs in their local area.
They then stumbled upon Red Flag and we stumbled upon them, and deciding that there were not enough women in rock a blossoming partnership was formed. The result is this amazing debut, 'Fire', which is a dramatic intro to the band, part blues part rock. It is basic, strong and very resonant and it tells it how it is.
